It's nine o'clock, the kids are ready(ish). You're ready (more or less). You've decided you just can't let your two year old watch yet another episode of Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
So what do you do?
Once a week, grocery shopping and errands fill that 9-12 block. But if that's out of the way, our week typically consists of:
- The library for story time, books, and blocks.
- Parks ... ideally with friends.
And that's about all I've got up my sleeve.
Any other ideas?
That's two more options than we have for the late morning block...
ReplyDeletewinter in Utah + no friends here yet= we do a lot of errand-running because that's the only thing we can think of to do every day.
If you think of any more ideas, let me know! :)
There's some fun ideas on pinterest, though, of things to do at home-we like to go waterbottle bowling and set up water play stations in the kitchen.
ReplyDeleteI like the new look for your blog! It seems like our late-morning block is the time that Vance pulls out every toy he owns and conveniently (for him) runs out of time to put them away before school. I try to fit family scripture study- minus Dad- and Primary singing into that time block.
